No shortcuts
and overproduction,
Just Basics.

A return to cooking in its purest form, The Vic Bar + Kitchen’s menu of from-scratch dishes tells the farm-to-table story.

Overview

Executive Chef Robert Douglas expertly combines fresh, local and seasonal ingredients to stimulate all five senses.

No shortcuts and overproduction. Just wholesome food, prepared simply and deliciously. In his words, “Showcase the food, not the chef.”  Bright colors of fresh produce from the restaurant’s garden or local farms.  Aromatic stocks simmering on the stove.  Salt-cured meats sizzling over a mesquite fire. All culminating in a rich variety of taste, the most wonderful sense of all.  And did we mention the view. Hanging out at The Vic means soaking up some of the best views in the Valley.  High above the desert floor, the intimate patio overlooks twinkling lights of Verrado and downtown Phoenix.

The Chef
